What is Efedding?
As efedding evolves so does the concept of what it is. The basic rule of thumb to remember is that when efedding, you're carrying out the role of a wrestler, and playing that role in the first person by doing what we call, roleplays or promos. The promos are then judged, depending on what type of federation you're in on the basis of quality, content, execution, and presentation (rare). From that point, the administrative staff of that said efed sits down, writes a set of results which determine your next course of action in the federation, after you have either won or lost in your match.

Roleplaying?
No...not like sex, but similar more to warcraft without the gaming persona of things. You are playing the role of a character you have created. You can be anyone, anything you want in efedding. Play the role of who it is that you have created, and play it out as you would see it happening. Chances are, people will laugh at you, but I can almost guarantee that those people that do laugh can't do this if their life depended on it. It's hard, it's tough, so ask for feedback, find tips around the web (and many located in this site). You can always get better at roleplaying, and that's where constructive criticism comes in. Take all feedback as good feedback, even if someone bashes you. It's hard, but it will help you in the long run. Once you can fine tune your skills in roleplaying, not only will that shine throughout your work, but it'll reflect on how you do in the fed, and as a person because you in turn will be looked to as someone that can help another up and comer. Play the role of your character, be your character, live your character.

How do I find a federation that suits my needs?
Research. Go to various efeds that can be found throughout the web. Use google, Roughkut.com, or talk to friends and efedders. Read the rules there, and talk to some people, or hang around from time to time. If you like what you see, then that's when you join. But remember, what you're doing is making a commitment, so once you are accepted, then you NEED to roleplay otherwise you're leaving a black mark on yourself as someone that flakes. Don't be a flake.

So you're pretending to wrestle online?
Yes. That's precisely what we're doing but we're taking it to another level. A lot of people that "wrestle" online, are here for the creative purposes. Writers make things interesting, and it allows roleplayers/efedders to let their creative juices flow. Remember, you can do anything you want in efedding, it's all about how you present yourself. Abide by the rules of the federation, and if you're in no direct violation, then the universe is your canvas, do with it what you want.

But why?
Well because it's fun. A lot of efedders find that the community like atmosphere is not only a great place to hang out, but they develop relationships with their members. Friends, and there are many incidents where more has come out of efedding than just making someone a good friend. It's a great pastime. It's fun, it's cheap, and it keeps you motivated and your mind racing. Efedding in a whole is a community. It's time consuming to be a roleplayer, it can be stressful, but it's also just as fun.
